Stockroom Clerk

Dexter Construction is a large, diversified Construction Company engaged in all major aspects of the heavy civil construction industry within the Atlantic Provinces and we are currently seeking a Full-time Stockroom Clerk. This position will be based out of Lower Sackville, N.S.

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:
Physical and electronic receiving of inventory
Handle and storage of all parts and inventory
Inventory management, cycle counts
Cleanliness of warehouse
Follow up of short ship and damaged goods
Shipping and receiving duties
Maintain stock levels - order reorder
Use company supplied inventory management system
Purchasing of inventory
Support operations and maintenance staff with counter service
Work closely with operations and maintenance personnel to ensure adequate stock levels
All other duties as required

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience:
2 + years’ experience in a warehouse environment
Forklift experience considered an asset
Indoor and outdoor activity required
Ability of lifting up to 50lbs
Willingness to work in a team environment
Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner
Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors
Working safely is a condition of employment.

The hours will be Monday-Friday 2pm-12am.
