Looking for a **Refrigerator Mechanic/Technician Class B** who can maintain, test, and troubleshoot all industrial refrigeration systems within the plant, including Ammonia refrigeration and water treatment equipment. **Responsibilities**: - Report food safety and quality issues to authorized personnel. - Adhere to GMP, HACCP, SQF, CFIA, Safety, and regulatory guidelines during all work activities. - Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times. - Ensure optimal maintenance of all frozen refrigeration systems. - Safely maintain and operate Ammonia Refrigeration systems, following prescribed safety protocols. - Interpret drawings, blueprints, and schematics to plan industrial refrigeration system layouts. - Utilize PLC programming as required. - Troubleshoot system issues promptly to ensure efficient operation. - Coordinate with supervisors on short-term and long-term repairs to minimize production downtime. - Use hoisting and lifting devices to position machinery during installations and repairs. - Perform preventative maintenance on refrigeration systems to prevent operational issues. - Monitor compressor readings regularly and document hourly. - Support production, HACCP, and GMP compliance, ensuring company standards are upheld. - Assist maintenance crew as needed. **Requirements**: - Mandatory Refrigerator Operator "Class B" certification. - Recent relevant experience in the field. **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Day shift - Monday to Friday Supplemental pay types: - Bonus pay - Overtime pay Licence/Certification: - Class B License (Refrigerator B Operator) (required) Work Location: In person
