Eggs Canna was founded in 2014 in Vancouver, BC. As a pioneer and visionary pre-legalization, EC quickly adapted upon legalization to be among the first Private Retailers to receive a Provincial license. Known for a boutique experience and helpful Cannaseurs, EC has connected with and wowed our customers, building a foundational brand in this new and budding industry.
With three existing locations and future expansion, Eggs Canna Boutiques is seeking a sales-driven, KPI-focused, positive and passionate leader as our **DISTRICT MANAGER**.
Under the direction of the Retail Regional Manager, the **DISTRICT MANAGER **is accountable for the day-to-day retail operations and supporting business growth.
Key responsibilities include:
**Day to day operations** - Balancing day to day while creating new efficiencies:
- Staffing
- Merchandising
- Sales
- Training and Product Knowledge sessions
- Utilizing key systems and data entry
**Sales and marketing** - beyond our four walls, to drive sales and customer metrics:
- Monitoring market and product trends
- Competitor analysis
- Pricing
- Merchandising
- KPI target setting and execution
**On-brand Hiring and Culture building - **gatekeeping our boutique look and feel, and culture we strive to embody:
- Proactively seeking the superstars
- Training for success and growth, i.e. the next EC Boutique Manager
- Building team buy-in and support through strong leadership and clear direction creating a high-performance work environment while creating a strong sense of corporate culture.
**Financial** - from inventory to scheduling to bottom-line profitability:
- Inventory management
- Labour scheduling
- Reviewing P&L to understand and guide targets & metrics
As a **DISTRICT MANAGER**, it is imperative that you foster a positive and organized work environment that promotes and drives sales and exemplarily customer service.
**Successfully receiving your Selling It Right is a requirement for this position.**
**Qualifications**:
**To be considered, applicants must clearly indicate in cover letter that they have the following**:
**Recent, Related Experience**:
- One year cannabis industry experience and/or extensive product knowledge;
- Three years management experience in a retail/hospitality sales environment, preferably cannabis
- Proven track record of staff development and mentorship
- Ability to read and understand business financials
- Experience in creating and implementing staff incentives through KPI’s and financial reviews
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel
- Experience in start-ups and rapidly growing companies an asset
**Skills/Abilities**:
- Strong leadership skills, with an emphasis on training, coaching and mentoring all individuals within a team. Ability to train and develop junior managers to meet goals and give clear direction on assigned duties and performance expectations
- Strong, decisive, action-oriented, decision making and/ or recommendation abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to changing environments and possess expertise and confidence to lead change
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels within an organization
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with direct reports/customers/clients, government regulatory bodies and ownership group
- Solid understanding of business tech systems and quick to learn new ones

**Salary: $65,000.00 per year**
