Huronia Transition Homes is a non-profit organization working to end all violence against all women. We operate 4 primary programs, including La Maison Rosewood Shelter, a woman-centred organization that provides support to women who are fleeing violence or are experiencing homelessness. We are committed to providing our services within an intersectional feminist and harm reduction integrated environment.

La Maison Rosewood Shelter (a program of Huronia Transition Homes) is currently hiring a permanent full-time Child Support Worker. This position works a consistent schedule of 40 hours per week (alternating Sunday-Thursday and Monday-Friday).
- Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline and or equivalent life/work experience;
- Knowledge of issues contained within the violence against women framework;
- Experience working with women of diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and socioeconomic and linguistic needs;
- Ability to provide information, support, practical assistance, resources, referrals and advocacy for women and children as needed;
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills;
- Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills;
- Ability to work independently and participate as a team member;
- Communication skills in French or another language would be an asset.
