**Opportunity** Method is on the lookout for a Content Marketing Manager, SEO—someone who’s highly analytical, has a “growth marketing” mindset, understands the full SaaS funnel, and thrives on driving organic demand. You’ll be at the forefront of our already-robust inbound engine, ensuring that when small-and medium-sized businesses look for CRM or workflow solutions, Method’s brand shows up in their search results. You’ll also build and own our off-page and forum-based engagement strategies (reddit, Quora, niche spaces, other publications), identifying and engaging our ICP (Ideal Customer Profile) where they hang out and authentically introducing Method’s brand to said audiences. We’re on a mission to give businesses real control over their customer workflows—like how they manage leads, opportunities, job scheduling, and invoices—while tying it all back to their finance function. Our two-way QuickBooks integration has earned a 4.7 star rating from 1,700+ reviews in the Intuit App Store, and we want to keep building on that credibility with an even stronger presence online. You’ll report to the Content Marketing Lead and collaborate cross-functionally with product, sales, design, and more. This is an opportunity to own a key acquisition channel at Method, run experiments to adapt to emerging trends and algorithm updates, and go beyond the cookie-cutter playbook. **What You’ll Do** - Lead our SEO content strategy. Organic is a key channel at Method—you will lead the ideation, creation and production of content that’s optimized to rank in organic search and drive Method sign-ups. - Continuously refine on-page elements (headlines, CTAs, layout) and user flows across our blog, landing pages, and resource pages, creating user journeys that drive sign-ups and meaningful engagement. - Strategically manage a combination of freelance contributors and AI-driven content tools to produce high-volume, on-brand content, while maintaining quality standards and aligning each piece with Method’s overall SEO goals. - Conceptualize, produce, and promote in-depth content pieces (e.g., eBooks, whitepapers, how-to guides) that demonstrate Method’s expertise, generate leads through gated strategies, and strengthen our authority in the CRM and QuickBooks ecosystem. - Develop and experiment with new strategies (AI search optimization, YouTube SEO, newsjacking, etc.) and keep Method’s organic strategy in line with emerging trends and algorithm updates. - Identify high-potential off-page publications and communities (reddit, niche forums, social groups) where our ICP congregates and craft a plan to engage authentically—answering questions, sharing insights, and softly guiding potential customers toward Method’s solutions. - Monitor, analyze and report on content performance metrics, including website traffic, engagement, lead generation, and conversion rates, optimizing content strategy for continuous improvement. - Partner with design, product marketing, and sales to ensure our SEO content aligns with broader campaigns and product launches. - Create content briefs, manage production schedules, review and edit content for quality and alignment with SEO best practices. **You’re a Great Fit If** - You have **3+ years of experience** in B2B or SaaS marketing with a deep **SEO** focus. - You can **diagnose a traffic drop** in Google Search Console, geek out about algorithm updates, and **run an SEO audit** from end to end. - You’ve **managed off-page SEO**, building backlinks, partnering with industry leaders on content, and tactically promoting a brand on external properties. - You’re comfortable with **high-volume content production**—managing freelancers, setting briefs, and editing for quality. - You’re data-driven and enjoy **reporting on metrics**—like organic traffic, keyword rankings, click-through rates, and conversion rates. - You love **experimentation** and are ready to test new ideas beyond the standard B2B SaaS playbook. **Bonus Points For** - Familiarity with **QuickBooks Online** or other accounting/ops tools. - You’ve engaged or built **online communities**—whether as a moderator, contributor, or strategist—and understand how to **add real value** without spamming. - A knack for turning complex topics (like accounting or workflow automations) into compelling, SEO-friendly articles. - Experience building and maintaining **WordPress** websites **Why You’ll Love Method** - Opportunity to leave a lasting impact and shape how we do marketing. - Ambitious + experienced team that loves to learn from each other. - Opportunity to truly own your function and grow in your career. - Budget and resources to test new tools, channels, or freelance talent. - Flexible hybrid work policy—2-3 days in the office, the rest from home. - Remote work month—work remotely for one month each year from anywhere in the world. - Great downtown Toronto location—vibrant tech hub with plenty of amenities. - Competitive salary and health & de
