We are currently recruiting for the role of Postal Clerk/Cashier to join our **Cadboro Bay **team This position will be cross-trained - to work at our front cash, as a cashier, as well work in the post office, as a postal clerk. This position includes some evening and weekend shifts. In the role of cashier, job duties will include: - Operate cash registers - receive payment in the form of credit/debit, cheque or cash. - Count cash drawers at the start/end of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct. - Implement security procedures (bag checks, lotto/stamp counts etc.) - Work well independently and as a team member. - Arrange displays, and merchandise stock. - Maintain clean and orderly check out areas. - Participation in all in-store promotional events.
