**Summary**

The **In-House Demo and Support Associate** is responsible for conducting all in-house customer demonstrations, and providing support for in-house service tasks for MULTIVAC and partner equipment. This individual must be able to manage multiple technical and customer support tasks in our Canadian head office.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Ensure all machines at the Brampton Innovation Centre are fully functional and ready for daily operations.
- Complete equipment changeovers and run technical demos with the Regional Sales Manager and customers.
- Provide film and sample packages for testing, and assist with equipment repairs.
- Prepare and place machines in the demo room, move equipment as needed, and clean machines post-demo.
- Test returned equipment to ensure operational status and plan CSA approval for all MULTIVAC equipment.
- Manage stock inventory and update the status of stock equipment with the Sales Support Team.
- Assist Field Service Technicians and perform basic troubleshooting.
- Additional tasks as determined by the Pre-Sales Manager, including warehouse and off-site customer support.

**Time Utilization**: Normal office business hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. however, the In-House Demo and Support role should be somewhat flexible and expect that modified hours may be requested.

**Qualifications**:

- A College Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Control Systems or Electromechanical programs is required. A Red Seal certificate in Electromechanical and/or Electrical is preferred. Previous experience in conducting demos, in-house or field service work in the packaging or manufacturing industry is also preferred.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a basic knowledge of industrial software skills which are essential to upload/download parameters, work instructions, etc. SAP is an asset. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, Powerpoint required
- Troubleshooting duties will require the ability to work on MULTIVAC equipment in the Innovation Centre in order to recreate and investigate customer issues and work with tooling. Physical requirements may include (but are not limited to): bending, reaching, kneeling, lifting, and stretching.
- Bilingual ability (English & French) is an asset. Ability to professionally respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers. Ability to effectively present technical information and respond to questions from groups of customer representatives.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and professional written and verbal communication skills are essential for communication with customers and other members of the MULTIVAC team.

Pay: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
