Our civil/structural engineering team is looking for a drafter to assist us with the engineering for large-scale, multidisciplinary energy mandates related to hydroelectric structures, such as the refurbishment of generating units, the refurbishment of dams and other hydraulic structures, and the design of steel and reinforced concrete structures.
This person will work in a multidisciplinary environment and will be able to develop his or her skills by working with experienced professionals, and will be required to take part in internal and external training courses. We offer a flexible hybrid work model, allowing you to work from home and from one of our offices. This position can be based in Montreal or Laval.
**Primary Responsibilities**
- Participate in the production of civil engineering documents with a team of draughtsmen, technicians and engineers;
- Preparing drawings such as plan views, elevations, including detail drawings and various layouts;
- Coordinating drawings in the Logesdes platform (Hydro-Québec projects).
**Qualifications**
- Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) or Collegial Studies (ACS) specialised drafting in civil engineering, industrial drafting, etc.
- Experience using software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, etc
- Knowledge and mastery of Hydro-Québec standards and the Logesdes platform (an asset)
- Experience in dams and hydroelectric developments (an asset)
- Autonomy, initiative and ability to work as part of a team
- Fluency in French at a level appropriate to the position
