**Qualifications**:
A qualification in Engineering, construction management, project management, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent experience
- Problem solver with a can-do attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement
- At least 2 years of previous experience estimating construction projects exceeding $5 Million Dollars
- Desire to learn and grow
- Knowledge of Heavy Bid, Primavera, AUTOCAD and hard dollar software will be an asset
- Oil & Gas knowledge, familiarity with pipeline, facility and plant construction
- Good knowledge of ASME / ANSI / Codes is an asset
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint)

**Job Duties**:

- Prepare estimates of probable costs of materials, labour and equipment for construction projects based on preliminary/conceptual drawings and specifications
- Develop and maintain unit pricing and database for material and labour costing
- Identify opportunities for adding value to our clients
- Prepare quantity takeoffs
- Maintain a cost database
- Participate in sub-contract procurement, calling for tenders, preparation of RFP or RFQ
- Maintain strong relations with technical field staff and other operations business lines to ensure clear lines of communication are maintained to manage project plans and deliverables.
- Assist with preparing preliminary project budgets
- Track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjusting budget projections accordingly
- Prepare and maintain a directory of local suppliers and contractors
- Conduct site visits as required
- Establish Priorities and ensure deadlines are met

Responsible for overall project planning on various size scopes of project which includes:

- Scheduling of project timelines and managing to deadlines
- resource allocation of equipment and people
- Maintain project controls
- Responsible for providing technical direction and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Provides updates to leadership on the job status by preparing weekly reports.
- Responsible for ensuring the scope of the contract is on time and budget.
- Management of all purchase orders, quotations and invoices for the supply of goods and services.
- Lead project meetings with internal and external clients.

Pay: $70,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
