**Performance Profile: Wash Bay Technician at Concept Industries**

**Role**: The Wash Bay Technician at Concept Industries is responsible for performing critical cleaning and preparation tasks to ensure the quality and longevity of our products. This role involves meticulous cleaning, caulking, and quality inspection of bins to meet our high standards of craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.

**Responsibilities**:
Caulk Sidewall and Roof Overlaps:

- Ensure all welded-in options on the sidewall and cone are sealed properly.

Drill Rivet Holes for View Glasses:

- Accurately drill rivet holes for view glasses as per specifications.

Install View Glass Covers:

- Install view glass covers and other openings, ensuring the internal area remains dry.

Remove Paint Markings and Stickers:

- Use gun wash to remove all paint markings and stickers from the entire bin.

High Pressure Wash and Etching:
High Pressure Rinse:

- Perform a high-pressure rinse with a rust inhibitor/sealer.

Drying:

- Use a foam industrial squeegee to dry the roof, shell, and cone thoroughly.

Quality Check:

- Conduct a comprehensive quality check starting from the roof, inspecting for scratches, gouges, rust, weld spatter, and excess oil. Move down the bin one coil at a time, ensuring a complete inspection.
- Sand, blow down, and wipe with gun wash any rust on the legs.

Silicone Application:
**Outcomes**:

- Ensure bins are free of defects and prepared to the highest quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and dry internal environment for all bins.
- Improve product longevity and customer satisfaction through meticulous cleaning and inspection processes.

**Key Metrics**:

- Quality of cleaned and prepared bins (e.g., absence of rust, cleanliness).
- Efficiency in completing cleaning and preparation tasks.
- Adherence to safety and procedural standards.
