Commercial Truckworkshop Manager

**Job Summary**
You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the shop, delivering excellent customer service, and maintaining a high standard of safety and quality in all services provided.
**Responsibilities**:
- Oversee daily operations of the shop, ensuring smooth workflows and timely service for all customers.
- Supervise part and tire installation for semi-trucks and trailers.
- Work with suppliers and vendors to procure high-quality parts and tires at competitive prices.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels of parts, tires, tubes, and other related products
- Ensure proper storage and handling ofstock and minimize waste or damage to products.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing training to team members.
- Review pricing strategies for sales, repairs, and services to stay competitive while maintaining profitability.
- Promote sales and services through local advertising, social media, and partnerships with trucking companies.
- Build relationships with fleet operators, trucking companies, and long-term clients.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
- Maintain neatness/cleanliness of bays through regular inspections.
- Ensure that all work is carried out toworkshop quality standards, policies and procedures.
**Requirements**:
- 1+ years of experience in and OEM commercial truck shop with at least 2-3 years in a managerial or supervisory role is preferred.
- Experience or knowledge of tire installation, balancing, and alignment services for semi-trucks and trailers.
- Experience or knowledge of truck and trailer diagnostics, repair, required part identification and installation, testing, etc.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Highly organized and strong attention to details and accuracy.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment
- Knowledge of OEM parts, types, sizes, and specifications.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Capability to handle multiple tasks at once, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to operate both standard and automatic vehicles.
- Basic knowledge of budgeting, inventory control, and cost management.
- Fluent English written and verbal communication required, Punjabi and asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $85,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
Additional pay:
- Bonus pay
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
