Port Coquitlam, Canada Tiny Forest Childcare Full time

**Our team is seeking a part to full time ECE or ECE/IT.**

This position is at a small daycare licensed for 8 Infant/Toddlers.

We are open year-round, Monday to Friday, 7:30am-5:30pm except for statutory holidays, and two annual holiday closures: one week in the summer and one week over Christmas.

**Salary & Benefits**:
ECE starting wage is $25/hour, and $27/hour for ECE/IT.

**Additional Qualifications**:
As we build our team, staff with an ECE or ECE Infant/Toddler License is required.

Current First Aid Certification required.

Current Criminal Record Check required
- have knowledge, skill, and feel confident in working both independently, and with an assistant, within ratio
- possess strong communication and collaborative skills
- be confident in program planning to meet the varied developmental needs of a group of children in an engaging and inclusive manner
- be seeking a role as a long term member of a teaching team

**Responsibilities**
- Provide nurturing care and supervision to children in a safe environment.
- Plan and implement engaging educational activities tailored to children's developmental needs.
- Support children with disabilities, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility in the classroom.
- Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding children's progress.
- Ensure compliance with First Aid protocols and maintain a safe learning environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
