Responsibilities and Duties:

- Operate all equipment in accordance with operating instructions.
- Receive and output files electronically from the WIP server.
- Prepare/review files for output to plate.
- Verify Marked changes on proofs have been completed and are correct.
- Process material through processor and punch plates.
- Produce and proof all plates, making Dylux mock-up proofs as needed.
- Perform paste-up and book imposition as necessary.
- Troubleshoot breakdowns, conduct minor repairs, and perform routine maintenance.
- Control and adjust machine settings when required.
- Conduct weekly and regular maintenance on all equipment in the department.
- Maintain knowledge of safety equipment of job and equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:
Qualifications:

- High school diploma/GED with experience or vocational/technical certification.
- Previous print and/or machine knowledge/experience is an asset.
- Previous experience in operating machinery is an asset.
- Basic computer skills.
- Good written, verbal and mathematical skills.
- Good attention to detail and hand eye coordination.
- Able to work independently and as a member of the team.
- Reliable attendance, punctuality and attention to workstation.
