**BlackBlitz Basics**

BlackBlitz Airsoft (BBA) sells and services equipment for the game of airsoft. We have been in business since 2015, operating out of Waterloo. We are known for our large selection of airsoft-related goods, excellent customer service, and our expert technical services for repairing and upgrading airsoft markers.

BBA sponsors many airsoft events and teams throughout Ontario and the rest of Canada, and we consider ourselves part of the larger Canadian airsoft community.

We are a small team, and we’re looking for a sales associate who gels with our work culture.

**Position Basics**

BBA wants a sales associate to handle day-to-day tasks within the storefront. You’ll be responsible for helping our large and varied customer base in-person as well as over the phone and through Gorgias, our customer service portal.

You’ll also handle keeping the storefront clean and presentable. This means wiping display cases, babysitting our robot vacuums, and general tidying. This also includes merchandising products on our walls and shelves as well as in our display cases.

Over the course of your training and probation you’ll familiarize yourself with our inventory so that you can provide the best possible information on it to our customers.

You’ll monitor inventory levels and let the store manager know both when and what product is needed.

We receive a large number of online orders every week, shipped all over Canada and the world. You’ll handle going through these orders every day, picking and packaging products for safe and timely delivery. We also receive a large amount of product, and you will unpack it, count it, add it to the inventory, and put it where it belongs.

As a leading airsoft repair and upgrade shop, BBA takes in many customer airsoft markers for service. You will speak to customers regarding their needs and then follow our procedure for putting markers into our tech service queue.

You’ll also act as an interface for the customers with the rest of our team. You’ll speak to the store manager about any customer or store concerns. You’ll speak with the tech team to update customers on the status of their projects, as well as to provide clarification on technical issues.

**What We Want from You**:

- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Strong customer service and sales skills and experience, in-person, over the phone, and online
- Shipping and receiving experience
- A background in or familiarity with airsoft, and the desire to become a bigger part of airsoft in Canada - if you an unfamiliar with airsoft, this is probably not the job for you.
- Some airsoft tech skills (performing spring changes, light soldering, troubleshooting/diagnosing issues, suggesting upgrade paths based on customer needs and budget)
- Familiarity with online business management systems such as Shopify, Gorgias, Monday, and Shipstation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The desire and ability to learn more about airsoft and the community around it
- The ability to occasionally lift boxes weighing up to 50 lbs (20kg)
- The willingness to travel to games and events throughout Ontario to represent the store and vend on-location (with compensation for travel-related expenses, of course)
- Reliable transport both to the storefront as well as to any events
