The person will be responsible for carrying out the design of custom ventilation units as well as technical manufac-turing and assembly drawings (sheet metal parts bending drawings, welding drawings, assembly drawings of differ-ent components). The person sought will also have to validate the information provided by the sales team and col-laborate with the operators and assemblers in the plant.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Develop custom 3D models according to quotes and specifications provided by the sales team
- Work closely with the sales team during the design while verifying the information provided by them
- Prepare manufacturing and assembly drawings for the product
- Prepare the product nomenclature (BOM)
- Print production documents (specifications, manufacturing, and assembly drawings)
- Interact with operators, assemblers, and production supervisors
- Attend meetings with the department
- Create and update typical procedures and drawings used by the department
- Participate in product research and development (R&D)
- Other responsibilities as assigned

**Qualifications**

**Education**:DEP in industrial design, a DEC in mechanical engineering or any other relevant training

**Experience**:Five (5) years or more of experience in a similar position

**Computer Skills**: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.
