**We're looking for a passionate full-time Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) for the role of Toddler/Preschool Educator.**

**About**

Peel Explore & Learn supports children and their families through quality early learning programs. Our programs are led by experienced and creative Registered RECEs who provide a nurturing environment for our toddler, preschool, and school-age programs.

**Position**

We are seeking a nurturing and creative educator with RECE and leadership experience to _co-_lead Toddler and Preschool Programs _at our **Brampton** location (40 Dolbyhill Dr., Brampton, ON L6R 3V8).

**Qualifications**
- Registration in good standing with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators or commitment to pursue registration.
- Teaching aptitude including strong program planning and delivery skills, the ability to manage a classroom and collaborate with colleagues
- Knowledge of _How Does Learning Happen?_
- Knowledge and experience supporting children with special needs
- Flexible and energetic approach to work
- Positive and sensitive attitude towards children and colleagues
- Fluency in French or Spanish, or an aptitude in the performance arts are assets
- Current criminal reference check, immunization record, TB test, CPR & first aid certification
- Knowledge of the Ministry of Education's licensing requirements and evaluation is an asset

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Provide a high quality child care program by offering a safe, warm and caring environment
- Interact with children to enhance their participation in activities and their development
- Plan, develop and implement stimulating activities that reflect current interests of children in the program, including physical activity, the arts, construction and design, nature, and science & technology.
- Respond to the development of each child to ensure their specific needs are being met.

**Hours**
- 8 hour rotating shift (+ 1 hour lunch) between 7 am - 6 pm, Monday - Friday

**Salary**: $16.50-$20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Brampton, ON L6R 3V8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Post-Graduation RECE: 2 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- French (preferred)
- Spanish (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- RECE (preferred)
