We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to plan and supervise a wide range of construction projects from start to finish. You will organize and oversee construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

The Construction Site Supervisor will provide overall leadership for on-site field supervision and technical management for all construction operations, including direct supervision of on-site employees, subcontractors, and other construction-related personnel. The site superintendent is responsible for directing and executing work according to the project plan, executing work on time, maintaining a safe workplace, and promoting and enhancing the company image. Site Supervisors will be 'hands on' when required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract

**Salary**: $70k-$90kper year

Schedule:

- 8 -10 hour shifts

**Qualifications**:

- English (required)
- Driving Licence (required)
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
- 3-5years(preferred)

- Field inspection of the job site on a regular basis, as required to ensure compliance with requirements of the construction contracts.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key partners including consultants, contractors, and vendors.
- Pre-Construction Planning and Permits
- Provide input during initial site design and provide technical support needed to secure site plan and development permit approvals.
- Screen and hire experienced and approved sub contractors
- Safety, Health, & Environment
- Promote and enforce compliance of contractor safety expectations and related reporting
- Completes monthly financial reporting;
- Performs estimating duties as requested;
- Develops and maintains customer relations. Ensures regular correspondence takes place and follows-up on opportunities for additional businesses.

- **10+ years of experience in high-end/luxury residential home building**
** ** Must have extensive experience in residential construction (Ontario preferred)
- **Able to read and interpret all associated drawings**
** ** Understand all rules, regulation, policies and local building code (Ontario)
- **Must be prepared to work under pressure and self-motivation to his work**
** ** Ability to supervise 25 people or more
- **Enforce company’s policy regarding the safety work environment and quality procedure**
** ** Coordinate construction schedule and make sure the tasks and project are completed on time
- **Control the delivery of material on site**
** ** Identify, investigate, correct and document potential construction and safety problems
- **Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality**
** ** Ensure the efficient use of labour, machines and materials used by the crew
- **Manage on-site client communications and change request reporting**
** ** Monitor job progress and provide regular progress reporting to management
- **Manage administration activities including; timekeeping and safety reporting**
** ** Review and verify paperwork such as daily site logs, schedule updates, delivery receipts and packing slips, hours of service, etc.
- **Inspect the quality of work**

** ** Scheduling trades and deliveries
- **Overseeing and enforcing site safety and required documentation**

- **Define and develop scope of work documents for all project items**

- **Inspect the quality of work**
** ** Documenting site conditions and relevant administration
- **Liaise and communicating frequently with the Project Manager**
** ** Experience with scheduling site logistics, providing clear direction, scope and schedule to trades and labourers
- **Experience and understanding of jurisdictional process i.e. building inspections, TSSA, ESA, Ministry of Labour, etc.**
** ** Proficient with MS Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel.
- **Critical eye and ability to take mobile photographs, videos.**
** ** Excellent communication skills and a high level of organization
- **Thrives under pressure with problem solving skills**
