The mission of the Logistics Department is to ensure fast, reliable and cost-effective delivery of our products to our customers while ensuring exceptional customer experience from start to finish.
Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Logistics, the Logistics Team Lead is responsible for leading the team in order entry, inventory tracking, order delivery management, and facilitating returns and exchanges for customers.
You are organized, detail-oriented, love solving problems and passionate about customers.
**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**DAY TO DAY ADMINISTRATION (70%)**
- Process and dispatch orders to align with order ETAs provided to customers
- Engage with logistics carriers for shipment quotes, monitor progress, and problem solve issues as they arise
- Review carrier invoices for accuracy
- Deliver exceptional customer support by handling inquiries with attentiveness and professionalism to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Maintain organized physical and digital documentation for order fulfillment, distribution, pricing, and contractual obligations
- Execute and manage customer returns, including issuing return authorizations, arranging product returns, coordinating with appropriate teams for inspection, disposition, and updating inventory systems while reconciling returns with accounting records
- Provide prompt and accurate responses on delivery inquiries with customer care and retail teams and troubleshoot issues as they arise
**TEAM LEADERSHIP (30%)**
- Coach, mentor and develop team members
- Recruit, hire, and train new team members
- Support in analyzing team reporting, ensuring all members are aware of and meeting department metrics and KPIs
- Assist in overseeing outbound and inter-company logistics operations (domestic and international)
- Ensure carrier compliance with company policies and SLAs
- Prioritize team tasks to meet required completion dates
- Handle customer escalations to maintain an excellent delivery experience
- Ensure team is coordinating and communicating delivery schedules with carriers
- Work closely with carriers to ensure effective execution of goods transportation and final mile delivery
**QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS**:
- 2+ years of related Logistics/Supply Chain/Operations/Inventory/Distribution experience
- Previous experience leading/coaching/training a team and demonstrated ability to get results
- Experience with logistics and inventory software - ERP / WMS /TMS systems
- Highly skilled in building relationships, influencing others, leading change, and developing talent.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodology; experience identifying improvement opportunities and leading teams to complete projects
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across functions and obtain necessary “buy in” from stakeholders
- Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and prioritize duties to meet deadlines daily with limited supervision
- Proven record of delivering results
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent computer skills; Microsoft Office Excel and Word

Salary Range for this role is budgeted between $46,000 - $52,000
Pay: $46,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
