We are looking for animal lovers eager to work in the veterinary field. Applicants must be **reliable**, responsible, fast and willing learners, good communicators, be comfortable with computers, and veterinary or other animal care experience is an asset. Job includes reception duties, so customer service experience is a bonus. Must be able to work independently. Must be at least 18 years of age. Looking for an applicant who can work all year round.

Some duties include:

- restraining animals during appointments
- assisting before, during and after surgery
- taking x-rays
- receptionist duties (answering the phone, booking appointments)
- in house lab work

Ideal applicants are passionate about animals and looking for a career in animal care. Earning a paycheck is secondary to helping animals. We prefer applicants to have their own vehicle.

Starting wage may be adjusted based on applicant experience.

MUST BE VACCINATED AGAINST COVID-19

Post Secondary education and Animal experience preferred.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: $17.00-$18.00 per hour

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

- Newmarket, ON L3X2M2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
