RED Mountain Resort is hiring for a full-time, year-round position of Accounting and Payroll Supervisor. This position is responsible for managing the payroll and accounting functions at the organization. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned finance and payroll professional to hone their skills in the tourism industry.

**MAJOR RESPONSBILITIES**

**Accounting**
- Compiling and reviewing financial information.
- Preparing financial paperwork including preparing and entering journal entries, and maintaining records.
- Maintaining general ledgers.
- Reconciling bank statements.
- Receiving and recording payments via e-transfer and wire.
- Assisting in account analysis and account coding.
- Reconciling account balances.
- Overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Timely tax filing.

**Payroll**
- Responsible for payroll processing for all hourly and salaried employees in ADP Workforce Now.
- Preparing all payroll remittances.
- Preparing ROE and T4 documentation within the payroll system.
- Inputting of all new employee payroll data into system, managing all changes and updates, while ensuring accuracy of all records.
- Develop and provide training to Managers on payroll processes and systems.
- Preparing payroll reports.

**EDUCATION**
- Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related discipline.
- Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) certification or equivalent years of experience processing payroll.

**EXPERIENCE**
- 5 years’ experience in accounting.
- 2-4 years’ experience in payroll.
- Experience using ADP Workforce Now or other similar payroll system.
- Experience using Acumatica or another similar program.

**PHYSICAL AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS**
- Must obtain a successful criminal record check.

**SKILLS AND ABILITIES**
- Strong financial and payroll acumen.
- Skilled at developing procedures and best practices and communicating these to managers and employees.
- Must have excellent attention to detail.
- Able to multi-task and juggle multiple duties in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Exhibit a high degree of discretion, good judgment and confidentiality when dealing with personal information.
- Work effectively in a team environment, and build and maintain good relationships with all departments.
- Strong organizational skills.
