**Why join our Finance team?**:
Reporting to Director of Cost Accounting, he/she will support the costing team with the overview and tracking of expenses as well as communicate with internal parties about them. He/She will ensure all items are completed in a timely manner

**As a Cost Analyst, your day-to-day responsibilities include**:

- Facilitate and create in the ERP system Marketing, Sustaining and Support projects in a timely manner;
- Follow and report on activity and budget status of various project types (Marketing, Sustaining and Support);
- Report on Travel and Leisure expenses and work closely with the travel manager to optimize costs;
- Support the costing team in the linkage of projects opened with production items (95xxxx);
- Maintain commission and royalty contracts within the ERP system;
- Ensure timely payment of commission and royalty amounts due;
- Offers support to the remote site controller for bank reconciliations and other general accounting tasks at month end;
- Responsible for the generation of the weekly payment run for the remote site controller;
- Ensures monthly actual versus budget expenses per cost center are sent to VPs in a timely manner;
- Do the initial assessment of lease contract for ASC842 criteria;
- Support the overhead team in ad hoc analysis;
- Performs any other related duties as assigned.

- Diploma of Vocational studies (DEP) in finance or accounting;
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the field or in a similar position;
- Experience in costing or tracking expenses;
- Strong problem-solving skills;
- Ability to demonstrate initiative, autonomy and quick learning;
- Adopts a code of conduct and ethics;
- Organized, structured and meticulous;
- Quick to adapt to change;
- Good oral and written communication skills in French and English;
- Masters Suite Office, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc;
- Knowledge of BAAN and asset.
