GrandBridge Energy is looking for a Meter Technician (Journeyperson preferred) to join our team. Reporting to the Manager, Metering & Distributed Energy Resources, you will install and maintain all single-phase metering, poly-phase metering and automated meter reading equipment and systems to applicable standards. This will include performing meter changes to ensure compliance with Measurement Canada’s required annual meter reverification. This will entail preparing job plans for projects to facilitate meter maintenance on various metering systems, troubleshooting problems with meter systems, AMI Network communication, modem/communication equipment and telephone lines as they occur, maintaining and programming electronic metering hardware and software, as well as organizing meters being re-verified by accredited meter testing shops. You will also check meter and metering equipment inventory quantities, relay information to the Metering Sub-foreperson, and maintain accurate manual and computerized records.
