Md Assistant

We are currently seeking one MD Assistant to work at a busy Family Medicine Clinic: Part Time (20-30 hrs/week).

**Responsibilities**:
*Provide good customer service in greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments and explaining available services.

*Take patients to the exam room, record temperature/weight and brief history.

*Perform phlebotomy and vaccine injection.

*Manage laboratory room: temperature log, centrifuge maintenance, biological waste control.

*Operate medical devices: Autoclave, Thermometer and others.

*Work with MDs and other staff to assure smooth patient flow.

*Facilitate the referral process from GP office to Specialist’s office.

*Perform some administrative duties such as filing, data entry, relaying messages.

**Personal skill set**:
*Shall have the ability to multi-task.

*Shall have good communication and interpersonal skills.

*Shall have some EMR experience.

*Must have safety consciousness.

*Must have good time management and organizational skills.

*Must have good customer service and conflict resolution skills.

*Must be able to speak basic Chinese.

**Qualification**:
*Minimum 1 year work experience at clinic within the past 2 years
