**Job Opportunity: Yacht Detailer**

**Our company provides Top-Notch yacht management and detailing services to all major marinas in southern Vancouver Island. We strive to provide our clients with the best service and results possible.**

**We are currently looking for a crew member to join our fun and dynamic team—someone who can help us finish strong through the rest of the yacht detailing season. This role is especially important at the end of the season, as we complete the final detailing work and prepare vessels before winter.**

**Job Description & Skill Requirements;**
- Basic boating tasks and skills i.e.: tying knots
- Application of waxes and compounds to paint and gel coat
- Polishing boats with electric polishers
- Washing and drying the exterior of boats
- Interior cleaning
- Teak cleaning and coating
- Metal and Isinglass cleaning and polishing
- Detailing and cleaning yachts of all shapes and sizes
- Keeping track of products and using them efficiently
- Time management and maximizing work hours
- Positive and upbeat attitude
- Working with the team and being a team player
- Can handle working at heights on larger yachts
- Perform tasks safely and responsibly
- Ability to operate power tools for long periods of time
- Ability to work outdoors no matter the conditions
- Odd jobs; Vacuuming, engine room and bilge cleaning, carpet cleaning, caulking, painting.etc.

If you have prior waxing or polishing experience, we will negotiate a higher rate of pay.

Showing up to the different marinas and having your own vehicle is a must.

Being on time, and being at work on scheduled workdays is an absolute must as all teams rely on each other to get the job done on time.

This job entails hard work and manual labor. Most working days are in the hot sun, holding 10 lb polishing equipment for multiple hours. This job is not for people who can't handle hard work and good fun.

We are only hiring a limited few to join our crew, and if you are one of the chosen ones, rest assured, we treat our employees like family. All we ask in return is that you work hard, take pride and care in your work while on our clients' boats.

Previous work experience in the following areas is an asset, but not required.

Detailing, landscaping, construction, window cleaning, general labour, auto detailing, pressure washing, cleaning, carpentry...etc.

**Job Type**: Seasonal

Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
