**Job Summary**

The Part-Time Product Consultant will be required to travel frequently between different Cabbage Brothers locations in the greater Hamilton area, so **reliable access to a vehicle is required. _Regular weekend work is also required._**

**Job Duties**
- Greet customers and discuss products with the goal of developing a lasting customer relationship and a superior level of customer service and satisfaction
- Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge
- Replace used stock and ensure satisfactory inventory levels
- Upsell to customers
- Ensure store conditions are consistently upheld to established standards, maintaining a neat, tidy, and pleasant atmosphere free of clutter
- Adapt communication style in order to deliver information effectively to a range of individuals
- Consistently maintain a high degree of professionalism to promote a strong, positive company image
- Attempt to calm irate customers with active listening while attempting to resolve the issue to the best of your abilities and deferring to Supervisors/Management when appropriate
- Check identification of all store entrants and ensure only legal-aged individuals enter the store
- Take orders from customers and prepare products for purchase
- Ensure that customers are satisfied with the issue resolution as well as the resolution process itself
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving inventory and conducting physical inventory counts as required during or outside of regular business hours
- Ensure accuracy in all transactions, inventory, and procedures
- Participate in all manner of store maintenance
- Perform all opening and closing procedures to ensure the building’s optimal condition
- Work in partnership with management and other employees to maximize store sales and in-store presence
- Ensure that all health, safety, and security regulations are adhered to and required standards are met
- Prepare sales and accept cash, credit card, or automatic debit payment

**Job Requirements**
- CannSell Certificate
- High-energy, dynamic individual with an engaging level of enthusiasm
- Experience in Cannabis retail/sales
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to discern and fulfill the need statement of each customer on a consistent basis
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Knowledge of the retail cannabis industry
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Team-oriented with a high degree of initiative
- High level of integrity, reliability, and work ethic
- Ability to implement and follow inventory procedures to ensure proper stocks
- Ability to adapt and respond quickly in a dynamic and constantly changing environment
- Ability to quickly learn new product knowledge and communicate that knowledge effectively to customers
- Ability to promote products and upsell customers
- Demonstrated time management skills
- Understanding of regulations, standards, and best practices within the retail cannabis sector an asset

- Clean criminal record check
