Dei Facilitator

The Preparing Women and Workplaces for Success project will test pre-employment skills and development skills for immigrant and racialized women in Ontario, BC, and Saskatchewan. This project will also work with Employers to improve access to employment and retention in the workplace, and to improve workplace inclusivity.
- 3+ years of demonstrable experience in DEI-related content creation or development.
- Ability to facilitate learning sessions on bias, allyship, anti-racism, gender inclusion, anti-harassment, feedback and communication, management practices, and/or other relevant DEI areas.
- Strong working knowledge of office workplace dynamics, particularly small to medium-sized companies
- Excellent project management experience and organizational skills including ability to effectively collaborate with and engage internal and external stakeholders from kick off to close of a training engagement.
- Well versed in, or highly adaptive to, navigating virtual meeting technology (eg. Zoom, MS Teams) and other related workplace technologies (eg. Google Workspace)
- Willing to engage with cultural humility and an awareness of one’s identity and privilege.
- Comfortable with having difficult conversations and engaging in emotional labour.
- Passionate for, and come with, a deep understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion in organizations, as demonstrated through education, work, and/or volunteer experience.
- A clear communicator, with excellent written and oral/expressive communication skills.
- Formal facilitation training would be considered an asset
- Work as the back-up workshop facilitator as needed
