As part of our team, you will join a growing organization that is redefining home care with compassion and purpose. **As a Nurse Next Door Caregiver, you are passionate about Making Lives Better and**: - Always put clients first - Have a warm and caring heart - Think of creative solutions and always find a better way - Follow through with commitments and build great relationships - Go above and beyond (even when no one is looking) **You deliver on the following duties and responsibilities**: - Meal preparation, light housekeeping, and/or provide companionship and personal care - Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer - Help clients with their ADL's (Activities of Daily Living) that are within the scope of practice for a non registered health care provider - Meets safety standards, using equipment safely and accurately - Assist clients with transfers, ambulation and exercises - Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job description - Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly **Availability**: - **Live-In Full Time**: - **Providing Live-In Care, including Overnight Care** **Includes**: - **Separate Room + Washroom**: - **Included Utilities** **Caregiver Requirements**: - 2 professional references - Proficient In English - Currently Enrolled in (or Completed) Caregiver Education - Background or Criminal Record Check with a Vulnerable Sector Search (Less than 1 Year Old) - Negative TB test (Less Than 2 Years Old) - Proof of Health Care Certification - Providing Live-In Care, including Overnight Care **We Make Lives Better - so let’s start with yours** **Job Type**: Part-time Pay: From $225.00 per day Schedule: - Day shift - Every Weekend - Monday to Friday - Night shift - On call **Experience**: - Supportive Care: 1 year (required) **Language**: - English (required) Licence/Certification: - NACC-licensed PSW program (required) - Criminal Record/Vulnerable Screening Sector (
