Summer Instructor

LaHave LITES is a Day Program located in Dayspring, NS. LITES offers new and exciting pre-vocational, and entrepreneurial opportunities to participants of all ages, with varying abilities in the Lunenburg County area. We are currently recruiting **Summer LITES Instructor **to join our team.

**Core Job Functions**:

- Researching, reporting, and recommending new and updated recreational, social, and motivational activities and programs for Adult Day Service clients
- Implementing and evaluating activities and programs for Adult Day service clients
- Monitoring and assessing participants physical, mental, and emotional well-being and progress and adapting programs to meet their needs
- Providing support to program volunteers
- Assisting Adult Day Service Personal Care working with direct client care
- Contributing to Individual Program Plans to Adult Day Service Clients

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- High school or post-secondary student interested in Social Services
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Valid driver’s license and willing to transport participants

- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- You have applied computer skills and social media experience
- You are able to work independently
