Are you looking to take the next step in your career towards becoming a police officer? We have the perfect opportunity for you We are currently seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual for a University Security Guard position in the Downtown University Campus.

We are seeking individuals with a background in law enforcement or related field and experience in security. Training in use of force and report writing will be considered a bonus. If you do not have these qualifications, training will be provided on-site.

Qualifications:
Valid Security Guard License Current First Aid Certified Minimum two years Security Guard experience Outstanding communication and writing skills Excellent customer service skills Leadership abilities Computer literacy Law enforcement/Police Foundations background an asset Use of force training mandatory

**Responsibilities**:
Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety and security of the university campus Supervise and monitor the performance of other security guards Maintain access control to protect the personal safety, building, equipment, and all confidential information Monitor CCTV, fire, and intrusion alarm systems Assist the university management team as requested Perform other duties as outlined in the post orders

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

**Salary**: $17.00-$18.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:
