Warehouse Team Leader

Goodcang Logistics Canada Corp. was founded by Zongteng Group mainly focusing on warehouse services and cargo transportation. Currently, it has over 4000 active customers, occupying more than 10 million square feet of warehouse space in total. Over 30 fulfillment centers are in the USA, UK, France, Germany, Czech Republic, Australia, and China. Goodcang Logistics continuously improves overseas warehouse layout, focuses on fulfillment service innovation, promotes our construction of warehouse automation and distribution systems, and provides clients with professional cross-border e-commerce overseas warehousing and logistics solutions.
**Responsibilities**
The Warehouse Supervisor oversees the daily warehouse operations including picking, packing, and shipping using a hands-on approach and best work practices. The warehouse team is the backbone of our organization; we strive to provide fast and accurate deliveries to our clients.
l Oversee day-to-day warehousing operations.
l Follow and expedite all production, quality, safety, inventory, transportation and security standards, policies, and procedures.
l Record all quality issues and provide internal error reporting.
l Confer and coordinate with the warehouse clerk on inventory levels and equipment requirements.
l assign workload.
l Communicate job expectations and coach employees to ensure all health, safety and company policies and procedures are followed.
l Oversee employee attendance by maintaining start, stop, and lunch times.
l Counsel and discipline employees as required and document information.
l Provide management with reports and statistics on a regular basis.
l Adhere to all federal, provincial, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping legislation requirements.
l Adhere to and comply with all applicable statutory and employment legislation and company policies and procedures.
l Lead and participate in continuous improvement activities and problem-solving initiatives.
l Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
**Qualifications**
l Minimum 1 years of warehouse supervisory experience, preferably in a warehousing environment.
l Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques.
l Proven knowledge of warehousing, handling and shipping legislation.
l Requires strong understanding of working in a unionized environment.
l Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
l Fluency in Mandarin is a strong asset
**Salary**: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
