At Pacific Smoke International, our mission is to help people quit smoking by providing safer alternatives to traditional cigarettes. As the leading distributor of electronic vaporizers and award-winning vaping products in Canada, we've made significant progress since our founding in 2013. However, we have much more to accomplish for our customers, and we're looking for a culturally aligned Web Merchandising Specialist to join our dynamic team located in Markham.

- In this role, you’ll be focused on managing and updating our websites. You will work closely with our Marketing and Sales Operations Team to maintain product catalogs.
**The Web Merchandising Specialist will**:
- Prioritize and execute digital trade marketing activities (launches, promotions, discontinuations) to support the Marketing department’s needs and objectives.
- Using central management systems (i.e Magento, Shopify) to efficiently update B2B and B2C websites within deadlines. This includes but not limited to; adding and discontinuing SKU’s, related attributes, device specifications, product image assets, catalogs, inventory syncing, copy maintenance, promotions, pricing, product pages, informational pages, customer segmentation and other related activities.
- Promptly retrieve all content and graphics within the correct specifications from Marketing and Creative teams. This includes the assistance of reviewing, proofreading, seeking content approval from managers, and providing design specification/layout recommendations to graphic designers.
- Maintain pricing matrices and product catalogs for all types of segmented customers (i.e. default accounts, VIP’s, major accounts, loyalty and subscription users).- Plan and sketch customer-intuitive journeys (using i.e. Figma, Photoshop renders) with the shortest path to purchase.
- Strategically arrange SKUs, product groups, collections, and navigation for ease of search to maximize sales.
- Create KPI processes such as analytics, surveys, and user testing to identify user drop-offs to propose areas of improvement.
- Present monthly sales and engagements updates on i.e. e-commerce sales, conversation rates, cart sizes and purchase frequencies.
- Supervise, train, onboard, and source for new external agencies/freelancers to efficiently update all websites with our standard CMS procedures.
- Work alongside external developers and implementation specialists to run User Acceptance Tests to ensure error-free function launches.
- Provide basic troubleshooting assistance to product specifications, CMS pages, promotional, and content errors.
- Train Marketing members to use the website’s sales and promotion tools in our CMS.
- Accountable for updating Standard Operation Procedure documents with the most up-to-date steps to updating our CMS platforms.
- Provide prompt progress updates and complete all other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Manager / Team Lead (i.e., employee photos).
**To be successful you should have**:
- University Degree or College Diploma in eCommerce/eBusiness/Web Programming
- University Degree or College Diploma in User Experience
- 2 years experience in updating web content
- Basic skills in HTML, CSS, and Photoshop.
- Intermediate experience using Figma or equivalent
- Familiarity using Magento and Shopify CMS platforms are both assets.
- Proficient in Office 365, in particular Excel and PowerPoint,Visio.
- Must be able to communicate effectively and constructively with management, cross-functional departments, peers, and end users.
- Strong analytical skills to break down high-level challenges to low-level steps
- Strong organizational, presentation, written and verbal skills.
- Verbal and written fluency in English is required.
