Lyons Timber Mart is currently seeking a **Lumber Yard Associate** to join our roster. **You** will work out of our Black Road location. Lyons Ltd. has been part of the community since 1913 - today, we continue the tradition of being a family owned business serving Algoma as Island Timber Mart Kent’s Corner, Lyons Timber Mart Black Rd., and Lyons Timber Mart Wellington.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Assist Customers with the safe loading and unloading of their vehicles in a timely manner
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and positive attitude
- Ensure Yard / Warehouses are maintained while keeping all areas free of garbage and debris
- Assist delivery driver with delivery of materials to customers
- Assist with other duties as required or assigned by management

**Qualifications**:

- Ability to lift up to 50lbs safely
- Experience in a lumber yard or construction setting would be an asset
- Able to work flexible shifts including weekdays, evenings and weekends
- Knowledgeable of lumber and building materials
- Possess the ability to assess weights, judge distances and heights
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Forklift license would be an asset, however is not required
