T & L Adjusters is a full service, independent adjusting firm which has been in operation since 1980. We handle personal and commercial line claims involving automobile, property and liability throughout Alberta. We are currently seeking a Claims Adjuster with a focus on Auto/ Property Damage/ Accident Benefits/ Bodily Injury.

**What are we looking for ?**

Experience handling Auto and Casualty claims preferred, but not essential.

Strong liability assessment skills.

Transportation and cargo experience an asset.

Post secondary education related to insurance and business administration.

CIP or FCIP designation (or working towards your designation).

A self-starter with excellent organizational skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong interpersonal skills to interact with staff, clients, insureds and claimants.

Ability to deliver superior customer service while adhering to clients’ guidelines and protocols.

Ability to adapt to changing circumstances while maintaining attention to detail.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and high pressure environment, both independently and as a member of a team.

Driver’s license with own vehicle and insurance required.
- Ideally, you’d have the tools and experience which would allow you to step in and hit the ground running. If not, we’re looking for someone with potential - a bright, hard working self starter who doesn’t shy away from a challenge, with an eye to what the future holds._

Remuneration: Salary, Commission, or a combination.

**Salary**: $35,640.68-$82,496.26 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Commission pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Edmonton, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
