We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Business Systems Analyst to join our IT team in Langley, BC.

Reporting to the Senior Manager - Application Support, you will work collaboratively with various stakeholders, within IT and other business areas, to support project ideation to solution delivery. This includes capturing business objectives and needs into high-level requirements, translating them into detailed solutions, and playing a key role as part of the delivery team to ensure solutions achieve their intended goals.

You will be responsible for:
- Ensuring that business needs are clearly and accurately identified-
- Collaborating with software vendors and implementers to investigate and evaluate potential solution alternatives for objectives and requirements. Lead and/or participate in the product selection process- Mining data to support analysis and drive the correct solution decisions- Performing various roles on projects as needed, which may include project lead, analysis lead, test lead, system trainer- Producing deliverables such as project charters, functional and non-functional specifications, user stories, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, system context diagrams and/or data and interface mappings as appropriate to proposed solutions- Utilizing strong leadership and communication skills to coach and mentor project team members and drive solutions- Engaging with business partners and influencing project decisions; assess the risks of various solutions and prioritize competing business demands- Assisting with business change management and training

You have:
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Computer Science or a related discipline- Broad IT domain experience, 8-10 years, in Applications Development, Project Management, and or Quality Assurance- Experience in converting business functional requirements and non-functional requirements to use cases and user stories with acceptance criteria- Demonstrated ability to engage both developers and business partners to achieve goals- Experience working on finance/loyalty management business area projects will be an asset
