The IT Summer Student works as a member of the IT Helpdesk team and reports to the Team Manager IT Systems Administration. They are primarily responsible for assisting in the day-to-day IT technical support provided to Colliers Project Leader employees and for carrying out general IT-related office administration duties. This position offers a learning opportunity to become familiar with state-of-the-art IT tools in an on-premises/cloud hybrid environment using Microsoft and other management systems. It will require strong organizational and communication skills, above-average computer skills, and a willingness to learn.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform typical IT support tasks such as PC repair, software installation, and software configuration under the direction of HelpDesk and System Administration personnel
- Conduct data entry and data verification related to IT records management
- Assist the HelpDesk personnel in their daily tasks as directed
- Assist company employees with technology-related issues and requests
- Maintain inventory records of installed software and hardware
- Perform other assigned IT-related duties as required

Qualifications:

- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a bachelor’s degree, community college degree, or certification in a computer-related program
- Experience installing and configuring PC and laptop hardware and software
- Sound knowledge of MS Windows and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) products
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networking and related network services
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, SCCM, and Intune is an asset.
