**The Opportunity**

Terra is seeking loving, passionate, and dedicated Infant Toddler Educators with a commitment to life-long learning to join our Early Learning Department. As an Infant Toddler Educator, you will be responsible for providing exceptional education in a nurturing environment.

**The Role**

As an Infant and Toddler Early Childhood Educator, you will:

- Fulfill duties as prescribed by Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH), which includes ensuring Terra Early Learning operates in full accordance with VCH regulations.
- Implement Terra Early Learning’s curriculum and suggests ways to improve our program.
- Provide learning experiences and opportunities to our young children, with a commitment to uphold our mission and vision towards sustainable living.
- Develop a strong understanding of Terra’s school culture, and what sets us apart from other early learning centres.
- Establish loving, positive, safe and secure relationships with the children.
- Nurture children’s individual physical, social-emotional, and mental wellness needs.
- Connect and engage in collaborative partnerships with fellow educators, colleagues, leaders, families, and the greater community.
- Prepare the classroom to ensure a clean and safe environment, including the organization of classroom materials. Plan, implement, and organize a program in-line with Terra Early Learning’s curriculum.
- Provide age-appropriate activities to support the development of children’s social-emotional, cognitive, language, and physical growth.
- Document children’s learning progress and communicate with families/caregivers and colleagues regarding children’s development and progress.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $26.00-$31.00 per hour
