**Key Accountabilities**
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Leading the development and implementation of an integrated marketing and communications plan designed to build Acclaim Health’s organizational profile.
- Leading the development and implementation of marketing plans for specific programs / projects.
- Building strong relationships with clients, volunteers, donors, and colleagues from across the organization in order to understand program needs and to tell the Acclaim Health story in a compelling way.
- Leading the integration of ethical storytelling best practices into our work.
- Cultivating the Acclaim Health culture, brand, and voice.
- Oversees social media channels, including evaluating their effectiveness and ensuring use of best practices.
- Overseeing advertising, including evaluating its effectiveness and ensuring use of best practices.
- Overseeing use of the many marketing and communications platforms that Acclaim Health uses, including (but not limited to) our website, intranet, EventBrite, Constant Contact, Calendly, Zoom and ensures use of best practices.
- Oversees production of all print / digital / video creative and branded stationery.
- Ensuring all Acclaim Health content meets accessibility standards, accessibility best practices, and meets all language requirements.
- Overseeing Acclaim Health’s participation in applicable community events, ensuring our presence is effective, engaging and professional.
- Managing the marketing budget.
- Proactively seeking opportunities to market Acclaim Health and its services.
- Proactively seeking opportunities to broaden and deepen your knowledge of marketing and the home health care and community support sector.
- Leading the marketing team
- Having fun - note that spontaneous dancing and pom pom use may occur
**The Team**
The Marketing Manager position is a brand new position that’s been created to support current and future growth. You’ll be a member of the _Community Engagement and Business Development_ team, reporting to the Director of Community Engagement and Business Development.
**Your super friendly and supportive team members will include**:
- Marketing Specialist, Communications (reports to you)
- Marketing Specialist, Design (reports to you)
- Donor Engagement Manager
- Donor Engagement Specialist
- Community Engagement Coordinator
- Director of Community Engagement and Business Development

**Work / Life Integration**
- This is a full time, 37.5 hour a week position.
- Some weekend and evening work may be required for events, but you can bank this time to be used at a later date.

**Experience and Skills**
Here’s what you’ll need to be successful:
- Marketing Degree or equivalent
- 5 years marketing and/or communications experience
- Experience successfully leading a team
- Compelling, creative storytelling skills
- Very strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Wordpress, Sharepoint, EventBrite, Constant Contact, Zoom and social media platforms
- Experience in graphic design and knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite an asset
- Detail oriented, accurate and organized
- Proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team member
- Valid Ontario’s driver’s license, use of vehicle and insurance per company policy
