***About the Role**

The HSSE Assurance Coordinator is a trail blazer and alliance builder. This person leads the HSSE Assurance Program through stakeholders’ relationships, that also include community and local industry relationships. They have an authentic empathy for the felt experience of the Asset in the midst of our community; they manage the complexity and nuance of highly detailed and numerous assurances and reporting requirements. Their approach is data centric and leverages digital capability for efficiency, accuracy, and transparency.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for HSSE Assurance Coordinator to be involved from the handover to operate and develop an HSSE Assurance management system for the Asset.
Reporting to the Sustainability Performance and HSSE Manager, the HSSE Assurance Coordinator is an Individual Contributor and is responsible for the providing assurance activities specific to HSSE team for the operations of the Asset.
The HSSE Assurance Coordinator conducts and leads the HSSE Assessments across the LNG Canada business with the collaboration of the Asset Excellence Team. The HSSE Assurance Coordinator acts as the primary focal for the facilitation end execution of HSSE Assessments in accordance with the HSSE Assurance schedule.

**You will use your expertise to**:
- Contribute to a Culture of Care and Learning Organization supporting the LNG Canada’s aspiration to become an industry leader in safety where we recognize human performance as the pillar to no harm to people, environment, and the communities
- Lead and formulate the process for HSSE assurance activities with the collaboration of the Excellence team for LNG Canada
- Management of HSSE Assurance Activities using a structured methodology providing assessments against company, contractor, and subcontractor HSSE requirements
- Utilize an assessment methodology to validate, measure and share findings on HSSE compliance across the organization
- Lead HSSE Assurance Assessments including documentation review, interviews, and observation to formulate a report targeted at continuous improvement - Learning Organization
- Liaise with Contractors and subcontractors on the integration of HSSE continuous improvement opportunities
- Lead and support development of HSSE Assessment tools and processes to facilitate HSSE compliance across the organization, including development of HSSE improvement plans as required
- Follow through on actions closure from HSSE Assessment findings and recommendations
- Reporting out on HSSE Assessments to the Asset Leadership Team
- Support awareness of HSSE compliance through all levels of organization
