**Job Description**:
JOB OVERVIEW
The Graphic Design Specialist produces engaging visual content, both print and digital, to support all functions across the business. This position is based on site and will provide multi-store support for Eataly operations in Toronto. This role is not a remote position.
Reports to the Graphic Design Manager.
- Creates content including posters, product signs, price tags, demonstration signs, table cards, menus and flyers for restaurants, in-store events, retail displays and promotions in line with Eataly brand guidelines
- Updates and maintains assets as needed by Eataly restaurants
- Shoots and retouches photos - including food, space and portrait photography
- Works collaboratively at a fast pace with a wide range of peers and managers across stores
- Partners with team to fulfills all incoming retail requests and production tasks according to urgency
- Adheres to Eataly’s brand, visual and style guidelines
- Performs other duties as required or assigned
**Qualifications**:
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Design, Graphic Design and/or Art preferred
- 2+ years of design experience, preferably in the food or retail industry
- Knowledge of print layout, typography and print production
- Creative eye and exceptional attention to detail
- Positive attitude, patience and willingness to be flexible and readjust priorities as needed
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and Acrobat
- Digital photography skills with the ability to operate DSLR camera
- Knowledge of Italian language preferred
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Availability to work on site at the store with a flexible schedule. Please note this job will require working at least Saturday or Sunday.
