Williamson’s Transfer Service has multiple open positions throughout Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland. These positions are full time, part time, and casual. Both day shift and night shift are available. This is a 12 hour on-call shift with 8 hours being worked on a dispatch basis. You will work under the direction of a WTS Manager to transfer deceased patients from their place of passing to their funeral home of choice.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Professional demeanor and manner when dealing with the families of loved ones.
- Upholding Company standards and quality of service at all times.
- Preparing and processing of paperwork for each transfer at various locations of transfer.
- Preparing, transferring and transportation of deceased individuals from their place of passing (care homes, hospices, hospitals, residences, etc.) to the funeral home.
- Driving company vehicles to and from all locations in a safe and professional manner.
- Ensure compliance of safety standards and protocols as set out by WTS and each individual place of transfer.
- Maintaining company vehicles in a clean and organized manner and assisting with the sharing of company vehicles.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- This is a very physical job. You must have the ability of carrying minimum 60lbs up (or down) stairs.
- Must have a valid driver's license with a minimum of 5 years experience and have a clean driving record.
- Must pass Criminal Record check and be bondable.
- Experience not necessary; training is provided until the applicant feels ready to proceed solo. Company clothing and vehicle provided.

**Salary**: $17.50-$20.00 per hour

Other considerations:
Proper PPE is provided with training on proper usage.
