Personal Care Attendant

Position consists of:
Evenings - Friday and Saturday between the hours of 7:30 PM and 10:30 PM

Overnights - Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday between the hours of 12:00 AM and 6:30 AM

Mornings - Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 12:PM

**Duties**:
Assist with dressing and undressing.

Transferring between bed, wheelchair and commode.

Positioning in bed.

Help with shower, brushing teeth and brushing hair.

Assist with self catheterization.

Clean and tidy up after performing other duties.

Other personal care & light duties as directed.

Be respectful of the client and the household.

Assist with exercise routine using FES Cycle and/or standing frame

Bowel care routine

Assist with CPAP machine/mask

Sleep is permitted during night shift

Wake up when called and/or by alarm to assist as needed

Notifications of Time off:
A minimum of two months notification is required for time off/vacation
If you are sick and unable to work, you must call as soon as possible

Time Reporting:
Pay days are at the end of each month

Wage depends on experience
