**Job Summary**

The Shunt Driver provides shunting services to Edmonton (Acheson) facility.

**Work Schedule**:
Monday to Friday; 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM

**Essential Functions**:

- Ensure the safe movement of large vehicles and trailers around the terminal
- Adhere to strict health and safety guidelines
- Complete safety assessments
- Inspect vehicles and trailers
- Couple and uncouple trailers
- Park trailers safely
- Maneuver laden and un-laden trailers
- Ensure handover procedures are correctly implemented when passing goods on to other workers.

**Qualification Requirements**:

- Professional attitude in all interactions when on shift
- Valid Class 1 license with clear commercial driver’s abstract
- Experience operating and maintaining a commercial vehicle to DOT safety regulations
- Basic geographical knowledge of Edmonton and surrounding areas
- Excellent communications skills both verbal and written
- Ability to lift/carry freight up to 50 lbs
- Available to work full time Monday-Friday; afternoon shift

**Compensation & Benefits**:

- Starting Wage: $26.00/hr
- Comprehensive benefits package available including pension matching program upon successful completion of probationary period
