Project Manager - BIMW Community Consultation Project

Reporting to the Program Coordinator for Indigenous Health Studies, the Project Manager will provide leadership in all areas of project management for Bachelor of Indigenous Mental Wellness Community Consult Project: Bridging program. This program involves community consultation and overseeing curriculum development to bridge certificate and diploma-based courses into the Bachelor of Indigenous Mental Wellness degree program.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide leadership and supervision to hired staff in the development and implementation of short
- and long-term goals to achieve the projects mission.
- Plan and coordinate community consultations.
- Plan and coordinate provincial gatherings for collecting input and direction from Indigenous communities.
- Regularly compile and provide reports to community stakeholders, funders and the Program Coordinator.
- Responsible for hiring and supervising all project staff.
- Establish and coordinate the Knowledge Keepers’ Advisory Circle.
- Ensure all financial annual, quarterly reporting requirements are met.
- Regularly track outcomes, data, outputs, information related to the progress of the program development.
**Qualifications**:
- Completion of a graduate degree in a related discipline with experience in or knowledge of curriculum development, instructing, strategic planning, and policy development. A suitable combination of education and experience may be considered.
- OCAP certification a must.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in community engagement.
- Knowledge of Indigenous health and wellness, and social determinants of health.
- Working knowledge of and significant experience in working with Indigenous community engagement.
- Experience in management/leadership and effective collaboration with diverse stakeholder groups.
- Experience working with confidential and/or sensitive information.
- Results oriented - able to translate broad goals into achievable steps with strong follow through.
- Self-starter with ability to work with mínimal supervision.
- Possess strong networking skills, conflict resolution skills and consensus building skills.
- High level of professionalism, including ability to make strategic decisions and exercise good judgement.
**Salary**: APT Pay Grade 7 ($77,294 - $104,137)
