Join our team as a Cyber Security Specialist and play a key role in strengthening our security posture across both on-premises and cloud environments. This is a full-time, on-site contract position in Regina, SK.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Implement and monitor advanced security controls in cloud and enterprise environments
- Ensure compliance with industry-specific cyber security frameworks and standards
- Proactively identify and mitigate cyber security risks
- Prepare incident reports, vulnerability assessments, security metrics, and compliance documentation

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- University degree in computer science, computer engineering, information security, or related field
- Minimum five years of hands-on experience in IT security or cyber security operations
- Experience in security monitoring and incident response
- One or more professional security certifications (CISSP, CISM, GIAC) or vendor credentials (Microsoft Certified Azure Security Engineer Associate)
- Proven expertise with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Defender suite, Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM), and vulnerability management platforms (e.g., Tenable One)
- Proficiency in PowerShell, JSON, Kusto Query Language (KQL), Logic Apps, or similar
- Strong knowledge of cyber security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001/27002, CSA)
- Familiarity with incident response methodologies and best practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Eligible to obtain and maintain Government of Canada Level 2 Secret Security Clearance

**Assets**:

- Experience in highly regulated or critical infrastructure environments (energy, utilities, nuclear industry)
- Experience with SCADA/ICS environments
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to team goals
