Title: Installer - Full Time (Permanent)

Hourly Rate: $25 to $35

Job Summary:
Sign Nation, located in Newmarket Ontario is a leading custom manufacturer of signs & architectural products, for businesses across Canada.

**We are currently seeking a full-time Installer** **responsible for completing work orders to install, maintain, repair or remove a variety of signs, vinyl or fixtures as per Client requests.**

**The duties and responsibilities of the Installer include, but are not limited to, the following**:

- Travels using company vehicles to various locations to conduct site checks and installations;
- Completes a variety of work orders to install, maintain, repair or remove signs, vinyl, and fixtures on-site at client locations.
- Interprets and follows the information provided within installation drawings and location plans to ensure the safe and accurate mounting of signage materials;
- Ensures that all site checks and installations are conducted thoroughly and accurately;
- Effectively troubleshoots problems during unanticipated situations;
- Maintains adequate material, hardware, and consumable supplies in the Company vehicle.
- Maintains good working habits by ensuring the shop, equipment and vehicle remain organized, cleans up debris after each work order, regularly maintains fabrication tools;
- Wears appropriate weather and safety gear and follows all safety procedures; and
- Accurately document and report relevant information from designated sign locations back to the main office.
- High School Diploma or equivalent;
- Proof of a clean driving record with valid G class license;
- Valid Fall Arrest Certification or willingness to become certified;
- Proven experience installing signs, vinyl, and fixtures;
- Possess construction knowledge such as proper fasteners to use with different substrates;
- Experience with aerial lifts;
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more;
- Ability to work in a variety of settings including outdoor work environments for long periods of time, exposed to all weather conditions as needed;
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow specific instructions;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, personable to communicate with a variety of individuals in a courteous and professional manner;
- Accountable for producing work that adheres to the highest quality assurance standards; and
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

- 8 hour shift
