AECOM is searching for an Electrical, Instrumentation and Control EIT for a full-time position based in Winnipeg, MB. The position will require the incumbent to work and travel to Clients site for extended durations

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
+ Work within a multi-disciplinary team to design control systems primarily for water treatment and wastewater treatment facilities.

+ Participate in design and progress meetings.

+ Develop process control strategy in cooperation with the process and mechanical engineers and designers.

+ Develop detailed design documents including; process and instrument drawings, schematics, layouts, and installation details.

+ Select-control system sensors, components, and automation equipment.

+ Develop control system input/output index

+ Develop control system instrument index

+ Assist in construction inspection, equipment commissioning, and troubleshooting

Minimum Requirements

+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering degree with a specialization in instrumentation, control systems, and automation + 2 years of related experience with electrical motor control circuits and AutoCAD drafting

+ Valid (Class 5 minimum) diving license

Preferred Qualifications

+ Knowledge of process measurement sensors

+ Knowledge of fluid dynamics, pumps, and control valves

+ Familiarity with programmable logic controllers and distributed control systems

+ Familiarity with the Canadian Electrical Code

+ Knowledge of medium and low voltage electrical distribution
