GIP has an opportunity available as a **Parts Clerk, **located in our Bowes Rd Shop, Concord, ON.

**This position is on-site.**

**Duties**:

- Receive parts requisitions from technicians and source most economical parts taking availability and urgency into consideration.
- Obtain quotes and purchasing approvals as necessary.
- Create po#'s for suppliers before parts are ordered.
- Receive parts physically and in JDE.
- Stage parts for technicians.
- Organize and process new parts returns and core returns.
- Code invoices and process them for payment.
- Maintain stock room organization and cleanliness.
- Pick up parts as required.
- Work with all the vendors that refill our stock (hardware, fitting, miscellaneous

shop supplies)
- Inventory charge outs
- Restock parts inventory
- Check and replenish fluid inventory as necessary (def, coolant, washer fluid,

oil, aerosols, etc).
- Cycle counts semi annually
- Remove obsolete parts, maintain the parts department, and update the parts

stock
- Provide back up to Shop Clerk during absences.**Requirements**:

- 2 years’ experience in office/shop/parts related work
- Maintenance shop experience, an asset
- Ability to meet and exceed deadlines
- Familiar with Microsoft Excel
- JDE Software experience, an asset
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
