**Responsibilities**:
1. Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages.

2. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, in collaboration with the individual, family, and interdisciplinary team.

3. Implement evidence-based speech-language therapy interventions to address identified goals, including articulation, language comprehension, fluency, voice, and pragmatics.

4. Provide swallowing assessments and interventions to improve safety and efficiency of oral intake, collaborating with other healthcare professionals as needed.

5. Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities, such as direct therapy, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and dysphagia management strategies.

6. Educate individuals, families, and caregivers on speech and language disorders, therapy techniques, and strategies for home practice and carryover.

7. Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes, documenting interventions and progress regularly.

8. Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and psychologists, to ensure coordinated care and interdisciplinary support.

9. Advocate for individuals' communication and swallowing needs, ensuring access to appropriate services, resources, and community supports.

10. Opportunity for workshop development for parents of our current clientele and those within the community.

11. Stay current with research, best practices, and trends in speech-language pathology, participating in professional development activities and continuing education opportunities as required.

**Qualifications**:
1. Master's degree (or equivalent) in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

2. Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO).

3. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), preferred.

4. Experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist, preferably in a healthcare or educational setting.

5. Strong clinical skills in assessment, intervention planning, and implementation across diverse populations and settings.

6. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

7. Commitment to cultural competence, diversity, equity, and inclusion in service delivery.

8. Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and lifelong learning.
