Purpose and Scope:
Reporting to the Compounding Supervisor, Hunter Amenities International Ltd. is looking for a high performing individual to join our Production team. The Compounder will be responsible for batching formulas for a variety of cosmetic and toiletry products for the hotel and retail industry. Afternoon shift (3:00pm-11:15pm) is available.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Batching of liquids
- Improve the profitability by output and efficiency of the batch
- Follow GMP procedures in compliance with government regulations
- Follow SOP’s in compliance with government GMP’s and corporate objectives
- Ensure schedule is followed
- May include manufacturing pilot batches and participate in troubleshooting problem batches
- Participate in the conduction of annual GMP audit of the Compounding department
- Maintain compliance with laws, regulations, and/or standards and complete appropriate documentation as required
- Complete all other tasks as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous compounding experience
- B.Sc in Sciences is desired but not required
- Problem solving, decision making skills and troubleshooting capabilities
- Ability to multi-task and to meet tight deadlines
- Motivated, self -starter who can work independently within a team environment with mínimal direction and a passion to learn
- Able to respond to the needs of a multi-shift operation
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Communicate effectively with co-workers and possess excellent people skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to overcome challenges and successfully execute projects
- Have a positive attitude and be customer service oriented
- Be physically fit and able to stand for long periods of time
- Some heavy lifting required

Pay: From $24.50 per hour
Expected hours: 7.75 per week
