**_ As an Account Manager, Personal Lines _**_a typical day might include:_**
- In collaboration with the BSAA PL team, proactively obtains underwriting information from potential and renewal clients
- Demonstrates and applies knowledge of binding authorities & insurer portals
- Creates and sends submissions to underwriters (where re-marketing is required)
- Liaises with clients on the status of their request for coverage or renewal
- Presents quotes and/or renewals and endorsements to client, obtaining orders and binds coverage with underwriters
- Maintains a technical and service-oriented relationship with the clients and underwriters
- Keeps Account Executive(s) up-to-date on the status of client accounts
- Provides friendly, professional service to customers and Account Executive(s)
- Handles routine customer and Account Executive inquiries/concerns in a timely manner and to an agreed upon Practice Group standard
- Ensures work is prompt, efficient, and accurate
- Issues invoices, endorsements, policy documents, etc.
- Handles claims, including reporting to insurers, inputting new data, and updating clients on claims status
- Manages daily administration of accounts, including: correspondence; review of policy wordings, and issuance of new/renewal documentation
- Works Accounts Receivable lists
- Maintains expiration lists and abeyances
- Ensures all documentation are accurate and accounts are kept in an orderly manner

**_ Must Haves:_**
- Minimum 2-3 years’ of Personal insurance experience, consistently meeting internal core competencies
- General Insurance Agent Level 2 license through the Insurance Council of Alberta
- A Level I license is acceptable with commensurate experience &/or active pursuit of a Level II license
- Active pursuit of CAIB, CIP, CRM, or other insurance designations, considered an asset
- Post Secondary Degree considered an asset
- Experience using Epic broker management system an asset
